Hi, I’m Kadri Aworigo, a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I’m passionate about helping adults heal from childhood trauma and attachment issues. Most of my clients are women in their 20s and 30s who grew up with emotionally unavailable or immature parents or experienced trauma during their earlier years. These experiences can lead to feeling easily overwhelmed by emotions, becoming disconnected or numb, or struggling with high anxiety.

I work with my clients to help them reconnect with themselves and navigate a full range of emotions. Together, we build the foundation for rich emotional lives without fear of being overwhelmed or stuck. This often leads to deeper, more fulfilling relationships and the confidence to show up authentically in all areas of life.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of theories and methods to tailor my approach to your unique needs and preferences. My practice is grounded in the latest research and takes into account your cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic background, as well as your religious beliefs, gender, and sexual identity.
My approach is rooted in a person-centred philosophy and informed by developmental trauma and attachment research. I also integrate somatic experiencing techniques and Internal Family Systems Therapy into my work. Above all, I prioritize creating a safe, trauma-informed space where your autonomy is respected, and you are always at the heart of the therapeutic process.
