Aaron Dawodu
Integrative Counsellor and Therapeutic Coach

Therapy is a process that takes time, patience, consistency and taking the initial steps to begin can often be the most difficult. Knowing where to start or how to tackle challenges can be overpowering, intimidating, and frustrating. Big problems are usually small at first, no matter how trivial they are, and it’s completely okay to talk about them!

As an integrative counsellor and therapeutic coach, I believe the process of psychotherapy can elicit excitement as well as anxiety-provoking feelings as you begin to make active changes in your life. Within my integrative and holistic theoretical approach, I may use several counselling modalities, coaching techniques, and multicultural perspectives to connect your physiological and psychological well-being.
I am firm believer in ensuring that you are at the forefront of whatever approach is used and emphasizing your identity and your uniqueness. We will aim to collaboratively create a therapeutic environment that offers a safe, secure, and non-judgemental space for you.

I work with individuals over the age of 16 from various cultural and social backgrounds, and I offer both online and face to face sessions. I specialise in supporting issues around race and culture identity, life transitions, self-worth, and masculinity mental health.

I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN).

I look forward to helping you understand yourself that little bit more!
